Insurance FAQs

Will My Major Medical Insurance Pay for My Examination?

Your major medical insurance may pay for a sizable portion of your examination if you have a medical diagnosis such as cataracts, glaucoma, or diabetes. You will need to pay any applicable copays or co-insurances at the time of your visit and you are responsible for paying any portion of your deductible to our office that is not met at the time we bill for our services. If you do not have additional vision insurance you will be required to pay for your refraction.

How Much Will My Insurance Pay on My Examination, Glasses or Contact Lenses?

For some insurance plans we see daily we know the vision benefits. For the plans that we do not see often we do not know how much your insurance will pay for each service or product. You will need to contact the insurance company or consult your member agreement for that information.
